Sapphire

Chatura

Sir Nigel (mentioned only, deceased)

Mrs. Leslie

Didja Notice?

While Sapphire is under a spell of the spirits of the school, Chatura tells her a story of how St. Peter had to cure his daughter of her sinful constitution. This is an apocryphal tale from centuries after Peter is said to have lived and is not part of the Bible. Chatura's telling is also somewhat distorted. St. Peter, of course, was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus; his daughter was allegedly Petronilla.
