Didja Notice?
Rothwyn records a report, referring to the study in which
she's participating as "Experimental project ES stroke five
stroke treble seven." (ES/5/777)
At 3:19 on the DVD, the music that plays from the baby's
music box is "Brahm's Lullaby", a well-known lullaby (often
commonly referred to as "Go to Sleep").
At 14:24 on the DVD, Sapphire is seen to be wearing a ring
above the middle joint of the little finger on her right
hand.
Trying to puzzle through the current time anomaly, Steel
remarks to Sapphire that nobody should mess around with time
"except us". Presumably, by "except us", he is referring not
only to himself and Sapphire, but also the other "elements"
of the forces controlling our dimension (as implied in the
opening preamble of each episode).
Sapphire tells Steel that the family living in an isolated
apartment here in the 20th Century is from about 1500 years
in the future. It's interesting to note that Steel, moments
before, had remarked that people from the "not-too-distant"
past or future were experimenting with time; apparently he
considers 1500 years "not-too-distant", while most of us
Earth-bound folks would consider that a fair distance!
